1. Electrical engineers use sophisticated electromagnetic software to design products to customer specifications.
2. Finite element analysis (FEA) software is used for mechanical analysis
3. Electrical and mechanical designs are converted into a 3-D solid model by Cobham Defense Electronic Systems' CAD department.
4. CNC programs are created to support all hardware and tool machining. All CNC programming and machining is done in-house.
5. The final part is dimensionally inspected using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) by one of Cobham Defense Electronic Systems' certified inspectors.
